We explored the effects of a natural flavone, didymin, derived from oregano (Origanum vulgare), on liver health. Our research aimed to understand how didymin can help prevent liver damage, specifically in cases induced by carbon tetrachloride (CCl), a commonly used chemical that can harm the liver.

In our study, we found that didymin significantly reduced indicators of liver injury in mice, including levels of important liver enzymes like ALT and AST.
